Creating a good animation isn't just about making it smooth and entertaining, but creating it in a way that doesn't take up as much bandwidth storage when being viewed online. That is why I prefer using Portable Network Graphics files and Vector space cartoon creation produced using Adobe Flash 3.0. These compressed PNG files produce images without any loss of quality but at the same time using less memory and thus can be downloaded faster.
